Answer: Little Bobby picked up the statue of Mary and thought that he kidnapped the mother of God. He wrote a letter to God. In his letter he said that he had kidnapped Gods mother. He demanded God to send him a red bike if He wanted to see His mother again. This is the most humorous action of Little Bobby because nobody can kidnap Gods mother. Moreover the boy demanded the gift rather than praying to God for it. It reveals the innocence of the boy. It is fun to know how children sometimes behave innocently to get things

If you wanted a bike, what would you write to God?

Answer: My Letter to God to Get a Bike Dear God, This is your devotee Mr. Sarathchandra. I would like to have a bike for my birthday. Please send the bike to me if I really deserve to get it. Thank you. Your devotee, Saratchandra

Answer: No, I would not like the behaviour of Little Bobby. I cannot support the action of kidnapping Gods mother. Moreover it is a foolish thing to get things by using mean ways. I like to get things I want with good behaviour, love and affection. I believe that God will give everything to me in time if I really deserve

Do yqu think Bobby deserved a bike ?

Answer: I dont think Bobby deserved a bike. As he was a troublemaker, he didnt deserve a bike

Suggest a different ending to the story?

Answer: After writing a number of letters to God, Bobby finally realised that he didnt deserve a bike. Then he decided to be a good boy to get a bike for his next birthday. He stopped writing letters and went to the church to pray to God

After the survey: On the basis of the 10 individual sheets, prepare one consolidated sheet giving the profile of the families visited. Report of Group THREE :

This report is prepared on the basis of the data collected from ten families on the above mentioned programmes they watch on TV. It reflects how frequently people watch different programmes on TV depending on their gender and age. Games and sports are major attractions for children. Reality shows, cartoon programmes and movies are other important attractions for them. Most of women spend their time to watch daily serials, cookery programmes and movies. Very few women watch news, discussions and games and sports. Men are interested in watching movies, news, games and sports and reality shows. A good number of men like to watch daily serials. All the members of every family spend their time before their TV sets daily

Sometimes we get teased for the way we look. Friends family, media and advertisements can also influence how we feel about our body. We may even think about changing our looks. But we do not make our body. Nature eak about it to others. Shame and blame are not in any part of our body. Those who break rules are to be blamed. Our laws provide for punishment for those who break rules. When someone troubles us by teasing or breaking rules we can do the following : Say NO to that person; GO away from that person as and when I can; TELL a safe adult about this person

We may feel ashamed and find it difficult to speak about it to others. Shame and blame are not in any part of our body. Those who break rules are to be blamed. Our laws provide for punishment for those who break rules

Little Bobby Summary in English

Little Bobby was a story of a trouble making boy who wanted a bike for his birthday. Little Bobby asked his mother to buy a red bike for him for his birthday. But the mother wanted to make Bobby think on his behaviour and asked him to think about how he had behaved that year. She asked him to write a letter to God and tell Him why he deserved a bike for his birthday

Bobby wrote four letters to God requesting Him for a red bike. While writing letters he learnt that he did not deserve to get a bike for his birthday

But he wanted to have the bike at any cost. It is fun to know that finally Bobby went to church and stole the statue of Mary, the mother of God. Then he wrote a letter to God. He wrote that he had kidnapped the Gods mother. He demanded God to send the bike if He wanted to see His mother again

Answer: Conversation between doctor and his Mend : Prabhakar : Doctor ! What happened ? Why do you race in quick gasps ? Why do you come here in odd time like this ? Doctor : Let me relax first, Prabhakar. Its ok ! Sit here. Drink this glass of water. Nowr tell me, what is your problem ? Doctor : You know ! Today I faced a terrible incident which I never expect in my life. Prabhakar : What is it ? Doctor : As usual I finished my dinner. I lay down. But I could not sleep. So 1 resumed my seat in the chair in front of the table. Prabhakar : Oh ! Tell me what happened later. I am very eager to know. Doctor : You know pretty well that rats and I shared the room. 1 heard a sound coming from above. I thought it was the sound of rats. After some time there were no more sounds from above. Prabhakar : Is it ? What is wrong in it ? Doctor : Let me tell. Suddenly a snake fell to the ground and landed on my shoulder. Prabhakar : O God ! How did you escape from it ? Doctor : The snake slithered along my shoulder and coiled around my left v.rist. 1 sat like a stone. Prabhakar : What did you do to escape from it ? Did you cry out? Doctor : No, I thought that I was going to die. But a miracle happened. The snake looked into the mirror and saw its reflection. Prabhakar : Is it ? I never heard like this. Doctor : Yes, I too didnt hear. Really it happened. The snake unwound itself and crept towards the mirror. Prabhakar : Can you guess any reason for this action of the snake ? Doctor : Perhaps it wanted, to enjoy its reflection at closer quarters. Prabhakar : Phew ! So you ran till here to rescue yourself from the snake, didnt you ? Doctor : Yes. Exactly. Let me take a bath first. Later we will talk about this. Prabhakar : I too was frightened by listening to you. It is better for us to relax

Answer: The doctor was really in shock and was frightened though he was safe. He said to himself, "It is a very bad day today. I couldnt believe how I had controlled my emotions when the cobra had fallen on me and coiled around my left arm. I couldnt imagine how I sat like a stone without trembling, jumping and crying. 0 God ! If I think about the cobra, I cant get a word to speak. If I imagine how the death lurks very near to me, Ill be a mere image cut in granite

Suppose if the snake had stricken, what would have happened to me ? 1 know pretty well that Ill be dead as I dont have medicine in my room. Despite this danger, I was surprised and amazed a lot as the snake admired its beauty in the mirror. Really I am thankful to God because he saved my life in such a way that nobody couldnt expect. Really it was a miracle. 1 never forget this ghastly incident in my life." So thinking he fell asleep.

I feel so frightened as the death lurked very near to me. I cant imagine what would have happened to me, if the snake had stricken me. But amazingly the snake unwound itself from my arm and slowly crept onto the table to look into the mirror and enjoy its reflection at closer quarters. It seemed as if God heard my prayer. Really I am thankful to God for saving me from such a danger. I never forget this terrible and undreamt of incident in my life
